In the past 2 years, we have seen an unprecedented number of referrals to our team and growing needs. Many of our referrals have come from families we are already helping telling their friends about us but we are starting to see many referrals coming from settlement caseworkers as they see how we are helping their clients. Since the beginning of 2024, we have had almost 60 families referred to us. Sadly, we have only been able to help about one third of these families due to lack of resources.

We are desperately in need of new
Companion volunteers
to help be a friendly face and
share the hope and love of Jesus
in very practical ways.

Starting life in a new country is very challenging.
People have left behind family, friends, homes, possessions, and everything familiar.
Now they must learn a new language, new customs, a new place, different government processes and systems, just to name a few. It is bewildering. As a Companion volunteer you can be a friend and help them navigate all these changes.
